INMERSION Open Water Camp is a transformative experience led by Michael “SHARK”, elite coach, national and international open water champion, and world record holder. This is your chance to be guided by one of the most inspiring and accomplished athletes in the open water world.
At INMERSION, we believe true transformation happens when body, mind, and nature come into alignment. Our mission is to help people transcend personal limits through intense, conscious, and connected training experiences.

Michael’s background and achievements include:
Advanced open water rescue technician
Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS), First Aid, and Sports Management
National Champion and multi-medalist in pool swimming (Bogotá National Team, 2009–2015)
Pan-American multi-medalist in swimming (Colombia National Team, 2010)
Multiple National Champion in Open Water Swimming (San Andrés Team, 2019, 2021, 2022, 2023 – OceanMan)
World Open Water Vice-Champion (OceanMan World Series, 2019)
National Vice-Champion and multi-medalist in Paratriathlon (San Andrés Team, 2019)
World Record Holder for the longest open water swim by a Paralympic athlete — 25 km
Recognized as Best Paralympic Athlete and Overall Best Athlete of the Year (San Andrés, 2019)
